Kole & Fenwick

Kole and Fenwick turned 6 in April.

We have been letting them out of the deck and they love it.

Happy 1st Birthday Riley!!!!!!!

Our baby girl is a year old today.

We gave her another 24" bone like she got at Christmas.

Thank you grandma and grandpa Pierce for the card.

Love you and I will make sure they take me to the pet store for a toy.

My parents recently sent all my stuff from when I was little

up to the cities.

Riley found this in my stuffed animals and claimed it for her own.

Now we ask her where her Bogey is and she runs to get it.

Fishing the Mississippi River has started!!!!!

Call me crazy, but the boat got wet for the first time this year, February 27th.

The landings are open 365 days a year at Evert's Resort.

We started off the day with a fresh 4-6 inches of snow and 4 degrees above zero!!
It was defiantly the first time I have ever pulled the boat in 4-wheel drive.

Holt and I ended the day with 5 small walleyes,

nothing worth keeping, and it was to damn cold to take pictures.
The day ending up be a whopping 18 degrees out when we loaded up.

But it sure was relaxing to be on open water again.

Hofius and I fished the "Freeze Your Butt Tourney"

on March 7th out of Evert's Resort.

We finished in 15th out of 75 teams,

we weighed our limit of 5 walleyes, 9.20lbs.

Just missing the money by 0.88lbs.

If the sun wouldn't have come out,

I'm positive we would've caught that kicker fish to put us in the money!!!!
Well, there's always next year.

Hofius, Shawn Spicer and I hit the river again March 20th.
In search of the walleye of a life time,
with high winds out of the south blowing straight up river,
I knew it was gonna be tuff.
Never found the big girls we were looking for,
ended up with 3 small walleyes but,
my 1st ever Sturgeon, guessing she taped out at 36+ inches.
It sure was fun, a 10 minute or more battle,
couple trips around the boat and 3 tangled lines, on 8lb test line!!!!!!

Riley's 1st Heat

Here's our baby in her new under ware.

couldn't get a picture of her maxi pad, super absorbent with wings,

sticking out the sides and back!!!!!

I never thought a man could blush in a pet store,

but dad almost had to leave!!!!!
Mom and Dad are loving every minute of this fun!!!!!

Riley's Room

Ok what can I say, Our little angel is 10 months old.

She has been fun but there are a few things that have been not so fun.

On her 9 month old birthday I think she thought

she was in her room too long.

This is what she did to her door.

Here are a bunch of the pieces that were on the other side of the door.
Shane did an easy fix and put a piece of plywood on the back of her door.

Today this is what Shane came home to.
Riley had been scratching at the carpet for awhile
but it was never bad until today.......

I am not sure what she was thinking with the bag,
it was under the bed and Shane said there were pieces of carpet inside.
Not sure if she thought she would hide them or what.

Overall, we love her and are having fun raising a puppy.

Good thing that was one room that needed new carpet.
