Riley is getting so big she weighs 54.1 lbs.

10 min after we got set up,

my buddy Eric Kasa tied into this 40" Sturgeon.

After a 10 min battle and two trips around the boat.

She finally swam in the net.

I don't know who was more excited, me or him.

Shane's first Minnesota limit of roosters.

Friday Morning Trip to St. Croix

Shane was there just long enough to catch

two small walleyes.

Then he decided to hook Riley with a jointed Rapala.

Look at her right nostril, it was close to coming out the top.

Luckily, Shane was able to grab her right away and cut the hook.

The vet was able to pull it out the same way it went in.

They had to give her morphine and a little anesthesia

but she was not all the way out.

This was after we got her home and she was still really drugged up.

This is around midnight when she was kind of getting back to normal.

The next day we bought her an 11" chewie. She loved it and had one end off the first day.

Riley

This was just taken today so you can see how much she has grown.

Shane weighed her yesterday and she is 48lbs.

Digging for a toy. She really likes to take them all out one by one.

Riley is almost 6 months old. She has just amazed both of us at how smart she is.
She catches on so fast and she is listening so much better now.
Must of just been that she need to get a little older.

Baby Teeth

Riley has lost all of her baby teeth.

Shane and I were able to find 9 of them.

He did pull a couple when we noticed that they were loose.

Riley wanted to play with her all night long,

sometimes it was a little scary with the difference in size.

Riley impressed us all with how gentle she was with her.

Kylie really enjoyed Fenwick's cat tent.

Shawn and Melissa came to visit for a weekend

and brought the new addition with.

Well what can I say, Riley is 4 1/2 months old in this picture.

She is a really good dog when she wants to be but we couldn't love her more.

She has a ton of energy and she is growing more and more every day.

Our friends Billy and Nicollete got a new puppy and his name is Mugs.

He is 11 weeks old and is a Corgi.

Mugs and Riley were best buds the entire weekend.

Frank's first time fishing in SD for 18 years.

Moments before he hooked this, he said

"Shane, if you catch me a couple fish today

maybe I will start fishing again."

He thought it was a snag, but it turned out to be

28" 8lbs 1oz, couple quick pictures and she was released.

Anj and Morgie came out to visit.

We went camping out at Lake Thompson for a week.

We had a great time and caught lots of fish.

Thanks mom and dad for the use of the camper, next time

please have the fridge stocked full of Miller Lite and Bud Light.

We really enjoyed all the luxury the camper had to offer. Thanks again.

15 Weeks!!

Only won $5 on my lottery tickets.

Riley really enjoys laying in my chase lounger,
so now I think I need to find a new place in the living room.

On our way back to South Dakota this is how she decided to sleep.

We even broke down her kennel and put one of her beds in it

and she still didn't want to sleep there.

I think she finally figured out Kole does not want to play,

she now just leaves him alone.

Riley stayed with Justin and Emy while Shane and I

were at a wedding and her and Blade played pretty much all day and night.

Thanks Justin, Emy and Blade for taking care of Riley.
