For our honeymoon we of course went fishing and had so much fun. We went to Lake of The Woods in Northern Minnesota. We stayed at such a cute resort and went out on a charter boat for two days. We fished with down riggers and I will have to say that I loved it. I never had to hold on to a pole and that is my kind of fishing. Shane also loved it he was in charge the second day making sure they were all set up right so of course I got to catch most of the fish.
Shane got to catch all the big one though. He caught two big northerns and was so excited reeling both of them in. I caught some nice walleyes but I also reeled in an ice fishing pole.
Lake of the Woods was so beautiful. When we weren't fishing we walked along the beaches and it looked like the ocean you couldn't see the other side most of the time. I got to see a sturgeon jump out of the water that was so cool and by the time I told Shane to look it was gone.
